FEES & SUPPLIES

The fee for the class is $35 which covers the cost of food and supplies used during the semester. Students will receive a bill from the bursar at the beginning of the semester.   In addition, each student will need a chef style apron and a set of SPIRAL BOUND (3 x 5 or 4 x 6) notecards.  These cards are available at the ALHS student book store.

MAKE UP LAB POLICy

Missed lab classes cannot be made up in class.  To receive full credit for a missed lab, the student will prepare the food (with an approved recipe from the teacher).  Students will bring in a sample of their prepared food  with a parent signature verifying the lab makeup.  The student will have one week from the date of the absence to make up a lab.
